Intel R 200 Series Chipset Family Satahci Controller Driver
My husband runs a mobile disco and karaoke and has just bitten the bullet to change over to using a laptop, He has been loading his CD's onto 2 separate external hard drives. Now suddenly when he plugs in any usb device including his hard drives and wireless mouse he gets a warning which I'm not sure about. One of the reasons I don't trust it is that it doesn't look like a Windows message, the devices are all recognised and work fine when he clicks 'NO' or ignores the message and he doesn't get the messages on the other laptop (which I know could mean it's the laptop but it's only when he uses the USB's) Anyway the message starts -

When you click YES you then get the following message which flashes up over the top of something else which you don't get time to see it then says -

As I am a bit wary and we are not totally computer savvy we haven't clicked YES It also doesn't say who you have to register with.
Please can someone help us with this, is it a genuine fault with the laptop which Windows wants to update or is it a scam or worse? Also if it isn't genuine how do we stop it popping up?
